How does receipt scanning work?
Take a photo of your receipt and Slippy's AI will automatically extract the vendor name, date, amounts, taxes (TPS/TVQ), and suggest an expense category. Review the extracted data and save.
Is my data private?
Yes. All your receipt data is stored locally on your device. Receipt images are sent to our server for AI extraction only and are not stored. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I use Slippy outside Quebec?
Yes. Slippy works with receipts from anywhere in Canada. Quebec users get automatic TPS/TVQ detection. For other provinces, GST/HST/PST are extracted where applicable.
How do I export my data?
Premium subscribers can export expenses as CSV or PDF from the Reports tab. Exports can be filtered by date range, category, or vendor.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone to manage or cancel.
I found an error in the extracted data.
AI extraction is not perfect. You can edit any field after scanning. If you notice consistent issues with a specific receipt format, let us know at the email above and we'll work to improve it.
