Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 25, 2026

Data Storage

Slippy stores all receipt data locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Your scanned receipts, extracted data, and expense reports never leave your device except when you explicitly enable iCloud sync or export your data.

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your data is synced via Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. This data is governed by Apple's privacy policy. Lino Ti Inc. does not have access to your iCloud data.

Receipt Image Processing

When you scan a receipt, the image is sent to our secure backend service for AI-powered data extraction. The image is processed in real time and is not stored on our servers. No receipt images are retained after extraction is complete.

No Analytics or Tracking

Slippy does not use any analytics frameworks, tracking pixels, or third-party SDKs that collect user data. We do not track your usage, location, or behavior.

No Advertising

Slippy does not display ads and does not share any data with advertising networks.

PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25 Compliance

Slippy is designed to comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25). We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the service, and your personal information is never sold or shared with third parties.

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by removing the app from your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, you can also delete synced data from your iCloud storage via Apple's settings.
