These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the NoJunk mobile application ("App") provided by Linoti ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using NoJunk, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

NoJunk is a food ingredient scanner that uses artificial intelligence to analyze product labels and provide health scores, ingredient categorization, and related information. The App is intended for informational purposes only.

2. Free and Premium Plans

Free Plan

The free plan includes:

• Up to 5 AI-powered scans per day
• Full ingredient analysis, health scores, and categories
• Personalized health goals
• On-device scan history

Premium Plan

Premium subscriptions are available as monthly, yearly, or lifetime purchases and include:

• Unlimited AI-powered scans
• Export and share scan results
• Search scan history
• All free plan features

Subscriptions and Billing

• Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
• Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
• The lifetime plan is a one-time purchase and does not renew.
• Free trial periods, if offered, automatically convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.

3. Not Medical Advice

NoJunk does not provide medical, dietary, or nutritional advice. The health scores, ingredient analysis, and information provided by the App are generated by AI and are for informational purposes only. They should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional or registered dietitian before making dietary changes, especially if you have allergies, intolerances, or medical conditions.

4. Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive for accuracy, NoJunk uses AI-powered image recognition and analysis which may not always produce perfect results. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of:

• Ingredient identification from scanned labels
• Health scores and ingredient categorizations
• Allergen or dietary restriction detection

Always verify ingredient information by reading the physical product label yourself, especially for allergen-related concerns.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to bypass, circumvent, or manipulate rate limits or usage restrictions
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the App's services
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the App or its content

6. Intellectual Property

NoJunk, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is owned by Linoti and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Linoti shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to damages related to:

• Incorrect or incomplete ingredient analysis
• Allergic reactions or health issues
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Loss of data stored on your device

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep NoJunk available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App's cloud analysis features require an internet connection and depend on third-party services (Cloudflare, OpenAI) that may experience downtime. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
