LinoClass

Student portfolios and family communication for elementary classes

Students add their photos, drawings, videos and audio from a class tablet. The teacher looks at each one first. Families see only what the teacher approves, and each parent decides what they allow.

What it does

LinoClass is built for elementary teachers who want to show families what happens in class, without handing young kids a password.

QR code sign-in

Students sign in on a class tablet by scanning a QR code. There is no password to remember or type.

A portfolio for each student

Photos, drawings, video and audio go into each student's own portfolio.

The teacher approves first

Nothing reaches families until the teacher approves it. The teacher decides what goes out.

Each parent chooses

Every parent picks what they allow: photos, videos, sounds. They can change their choice at any time.

Announcements and messages

Teachers send announcements and messages to one parent or to both.

No app for parents

Parents get an invitation by email and sign in with a link. They never pay anything.

How a day looks

Three steps from the class tablet to home.

1

Students capture

A student scans the class QR code and adds a photo, drawing, video or recording.

2

The teacher approves

The teacher checks the work and decides what goes out.

3

Families see it

Parents see their own child's work, within the permissions they chose.

Privacy, language and where it is used
